Q: What is a Price Adjustment?
A: Costco’s 30-day price adjustment policy protects shoppers from price drops shortly after
making a purchase. If you buy an item from Costco and its price drops within 30 days, you can request a partial
refund for the difference. Our Price Adjustment Assistant makes it easy to track your purchases and instantly
know when you’re eligible for a price adjustment.
Q: How is this app different from the official Costco app?
A: Our app focuses specifically on helping Costco shoppers save money through price adjustments.
Unlike the official Costco app, which covers a wide range of services, our app specializes in price tracking
and identifying opportunities for partial refunds based on Costco's price adjustment policy by providing a targeted
tool to maximize savings on recent purchases.
Q: Is the app free?
A:
We offer a Free Trial which gives you $5 worth of price adjustment savings without any commitment, after which
you can decide to buy more
price adjustment credits for as low as $0.99 or subscribe
for $2.99/mo for unlimited credits and extra perks.
Q: What countries does CostPal work in?
A:
We fully support and work in the United States (Puerto Rico excluded) and Canada.
Q: Do you price track all Costco items?
A:
We track the vast majority of items across 750+ Costco warehouses across US and Canada, but we don’t currently
guarantee 100% coverage. There may be occasional gaps in what we can reliably monitor. Some categories that
are currently harder to track include clothing, apparel, footwear, software, very large or bulky items, and
certain manager-specific deals. That said, even with these small gaps, most users still come out ahead — earning
more in price adjustment refunds than the cost of their subscription.
Q: Are you affiliated or associated with Costco?
A: We are not affiliated with Costco Wholesale Corporation in any way or form. We’re just
two avid Costco fans who want to help you save some money.
